Vision

Understanding AI.Thinking independently.

We want the next generation to understand AI, exercise their own judgment, and bring ideas to life. Drawing on more than 15 years of software development and systems architecture experience, Collective 353 aims to support AI literacy for K–12 students and faculty development and consultancy in higher education.

Helping students use AI thoughtfully

We focus on how students ask questions, break down tasks, verify information, and explain their reasoning. Through age-appropriate courses and practical activities, students can explore AI’s capabilities and limitations, learn to protect privacy and respect creative work, and use tools responsibly to develop their own ideas.

Supporting educators in the classroom

We plan to offer faculty development and teaching consultancy for higher education, helping educators use AI in lesson preparation, course design, and assessment. By collaborating with teachers, we aim to develop practical materials and methods that can be adapted across disciplines.

Bringing engineering and teaching together

Our team brings more than 15 years of experience in full-stack development, web systems, and architecture consulting. Team members have also taught part-time at universities for years and worked with numerous higher education institutions on consultancy, talks, and hands-on workshops. These experiences help us translate classroom needs into useful courses and tools, refined through feedback from educators and students.

From courses and tools to classroom practice

We plan to develop practical AI courses for different age groups, interactive learning tools, and ready-to-use lesson plans. Students will work from asking a question and checking sources to creating a project, explaining how they used AI and the decisions they made. Educators will be able to adapt activities and assess learning through students’ work and reasoning.
